SJ Rotarians appointed by RI
Several San Juan Rotarians have been appointed by Rotary International
to serve in prominent positions for the global organization's
leadership.
It is with great pride that we report that our own San Juan Rotarian and District Governor Johnny Richardson has been named District Chair for the Rotary Foundation for a 3-year term, as well as the Assistant Rotary Coordinator for District 7000, Zone 34. His new duties will move him to a leadership role on an International level.
Several other San Juan Rotarians have been appointed to Rotary Foundation Subcommittees including:
Pres. William "Bucky" Tervo - RF Permanent Fund Subcommittee
Carlos Matos- Grants Committee
Juan Saavedra - Polio Plus Subcommittee
Congratulations to all our fellow Rotarians who have been recognized for their leadership qualities and have been entrusted by RI to take Rotary International into the future!
