SJR Harnesses the Power of Matching Grants to Make a Difference
The power of RI matching grants is about to make a
difference right here in our community. Here is a summary of the San
Juan Rotary matching grants
, which will be matched by Rotary International, in
partnership with Rotary Clubs in Tortola, Manhattan Beach, Lennos,
Peninsula, South Bay Sunrise, Lynwood, and Playa Venice:
$4000 Playground equipment for a public elementary school that has been adopted by the Roadtown, Tortola Rotary Club
$1579 for Casa de Providencia Home in Old San Juan, for equipment to train women in marketable cooking skills
$1600 to Ramos Antonini Boys & Girls Club for computers for the youth Clubhouse.
