SJR presents check for $12,546.11 for Haiti

During the Club's Valentine luncheon, President Enrique Sigas proudly presented a check for $12,546.11 to District 7000 Governor Johnny Nieves for our Club's contribution to the District-wide fund raiser to benefit Haitian earthquake victims. The DG expressed his sincere gratitude and pride for the generous contribution and also congratulated the effort by PP Bert Foti and Rotarian contributors that made it possible to send a $5,000-plus boatload of drinking water that was sent to our neighbors in crisis.

Congratulations to all the Rotarians and Friends of Rotarians who made this donation possible. But it's not over yet! More contributions are on their way to Haiti thanks to the efforts of our CPS Interact Club and a major donation by the Paddle for Haiti event to benefit Haiti......stay tuned for details.......and be proud to be a Rotarian!
