Dr. Luis Clavell, CEO of the Comprehensive Cancer Center University of Puerto Rico, spoke on the new center which is scheduled to open in the immediate future. With degrees from UPR, Harvard, the U of California Davis, among others, and his multiple contributions to science, our speaker gave an overview of this patient centered institution based on clinical research. Prevention, early detection and early treatment are the keys to confronting cancer.
