Dear Rotarians,
Your board members, with the approval of all Rotarians present at our meeting when this decision was taken, have tried to see all the possibilities to encourage members participation in our meetings and fellowships. It was decided to give breakfast meeting a try for three months, and three months are up, with poor results for the effort. This Tuesday will be our last breakfast meeting at 8:00AM. A historical photograph will be taken of all present for the closing of this initiative. In November we will return to luncheon meetings again. Please come and join us and help us celebrate that we can try new ideas even if the results aren’t what we expected. We are agents of change! We are Rotarians!
Last Tuesday evening, members of the Rotary Club of San Juan gathered for a wonderful social event hosted by fellow Rotarian Gerry Cumpiano at his home. It was a warm and lively night filled with good food, fellowship, and engaging conversation. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Gerry for graciously opening his home and for preparing such a delicious meal that everyone enjoyed. Thanks to Carmen for the delicious black beans!
The evening also welcomed several guests and prospective members who had the opportunity to experience the spirit of Rotary firsthand. Events like this remind us of the importance of connection, camaraderie, and our shared commitment to service. Together, we continue to grow — as members, as leaders, and in our impact on the community.
A friendly reminder that next week’s meeting will be our regular lunch at AFDA at 12:00 PM.
