PROGRAM: President Jorge Gonzalez will give his end-of-year report. Service Awards will be given to outstanding Rotarians in 2014-15. President Jorge will hand the gavel over to Incoming 2015-16 President Raymond Erb at the Change of Command ceremony.
Our speaker this past week was Mark Green, VP of Energy Answers Arecibo and Manager of the Arecibo Resource Recovery Project, the Waste-to-Energy facility. Through his talk we learned of the major economic and environmental benefits realized by the solid waste management community outreach program. Mr. Green, holder of an aeronautical engineering degree and MBA in Entrepreneurship from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, has over 20 years of project development, business development and operations management experience in the renewable energy and solid waste management sectors. We thank Ken McGrath for this timely speaker.
