SPEAKER: Francisco Lopez Mujica, President of Arrecifes Pro Ciudad, Inc. a non profit organization with the mission of protecting the coral reefs of San Juan. His topic, "The Marine Reef Reserve of Isla Verde."
District Governor Jesus A. Vivas presided at the Swearing-in Ceremony when Raymond Erb became San Juan Rotary's 2015-16 President. The incoming Board of Directors also took the oath of allegiance to Rotary's principles. Our new President gave his vision for the year and was happy to report that the Club’s financial health has recovered. Increasing membership is high on the Agenda. His plans include several joint meetings with other Rotary Clubs, four Rotary Revelries, emphasis on Youth Services and continuation of the Youth Wellness Project with Wellesley Rotary. Ray encouraged Rotarians who have projects in mind to bring them to the attention of the Board where they will be voted on. In this regard, the Past Presidents Committee will also be part of the evaluation of proposed projects. A list of committees will be circulated for Rotarians to sign up to help.
