At our recent luncheon at AFDA, we had the privilege of hosting Rafael Cox Alomar, attorney, professor, and respected columnist, who delivered a compelling and timely presentation on current world politics and the forces shaping global events today. His talk provided a thoughtful analysis of the complex geopolitical landscape, offering insights into the relationships and tensions influencing international affairs.
Professor Cox Alomar drew from historical references, including the Nixon and Ford presidential papers, to illustrate how past U.S. policy decisions continue to impact today’s global dynamics. He also addressed the role of Iran and energy in shaping geopolitical strategies, while touching on concepts such as the petrodollar and emerging alternatives as part of the broader discussion. His presentation was both engaging and enlightening, leaving attendees with a deeper understanding of the interconnected forces at play in today’s world.
