Enrique Cruz, best known for his Radio Noti-Uno and newspaper work, is an astute, insightful political and social analyst both locally and abroad.  Quique’s career trajectory includes going from 23 years with American Airlines, where he was the youngest Managing Director at 34, to sports promotion and radio host. He is currently developing a very successful customer service consulting group for 500 top companies.  No surprise, the thrust of his talk was on the present economic and health situations in Puerto Rico and the rather lame attempts to address them. Quique said there is no doubt that our island needs a new leader able to face the huge mess.  We learned that as of March, the government stopped paying its bills. Also, the extent of Puerto Rico’s dire financial situation will not be revealed until after the elections.  On the personal side, Quique is the father of four sons, twins who recently graduated from college and two in the working force.  Thanks to Program Chairman, Sherman Wildman for this interesting and informative speaker.
