Dear Rotarians, We had a very active week with a fantastic fellowship at Jorge and Pinky’s farm in Cayey. Followed by our Christmas luncheon at AFDA club. There were 31 rotarians and friends at the fellowship. It was a great turn out! Thank you Jorge and Pinky for being such excellent hosts! The Christmas luncheon was a delight with Mezzo- soprano singer, Aurora Navarro and pianist Adriel Montañez. We were treated to Christmas classical music both in Spanish and english tradition. There was sangria and tembleque besides arroz con gandules and roast pork. Rob Bolt made coquito and shared it with us. We learned that Annie Evans’ son is a rum maker in Florida and it was used in the coquito prepared by Rob. It was all delicious. One great news to share with you is that Enid Reyes accepted to be our president elect for 2024-2025. Thank you Enid for your leadership and commitment to Rotary. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Yours in Rotary, Juanita |
