The Tax Reform Process was the subject of our guest speaker and fellow-Rotarian, Maria de los Angeles Rivera, Tax Partner of the Kevane Grant Thornton accounting firm. How the Value Added Tax VAT differs from the IVU was one of many changes to the tax code Maria spoke about in addition to how it will affect the producer, the consumer and the importer.
