On Tuesday, we gathered at Tinto y Blanco for our monthly social and enjoyed a wonderful evening of conversation and connection. We had a great group come out, with conversations ranging from family and relationships to simply getting to know one another beyond our regular meetings. We also continued discussing the possibility of exploring other locations for some of our future meetings beyond AFDA. A couple of options have emerged, and we will bring those possibilities to the larger group for discussion.
Next week, we return to AFDA at 12:00 p.m. and look forward to welcoming Rowan St. Clair, founder of TU ARTE, a nonprofit using creativity to connect people and strengthen communities across Puerto Rico. TU ARTE’s work was recently featured by El Nuevo Día, highlighting painting workshops with older adults and the role art can play in supporting mental health, companionship, and well-being. Join us as Rowan shares more about TU ARTE, its community impact, and how creativity can become a powerful way of bringing people together.
