Rotary does make a difference. The proof is in the pudding as second installment of the Rotary matching grant makes its way to the Matenwa Learning Center to continue the the important literacy project on the tiny impoverished island of the coast of Haiti. The more than $62,388 will fund a project that will allow the Matenwa Library to begin publishing and distributing books in the native Creole language to improve literacy on the Island. This is a fine example of how a collaboration by Rotary International, SJR, its Commonwealth Interact Club, the Skidaway and Port au Prince Club's can come together to make big things happen in a small place. Congratulations to all!
