Meeting Recap

Last Tuesday, our club met at AFDA. The gathering was informal, with no scheduled speaker or set program. We were pleased to welcome Sol and Carmen Bravman, former club members who now reside in Ohio. The conversation flowed naturally, centering around various topics relevant to our Club.

Rotary International Updates

Gerry provided a summary of current discussions within Rotary. He reminded us that this year's Rotary International Convention will be held in Taiwan. Due to global circumstances, next year's convention venue has been changed from Dubai to Barcelona, a location favored by many. Gerry noted that it will take several months before specific plans are finalized and registration opens.

District Assembly Announcement

Gerry also reminded us about the upcoming District Assembly (Asamblea Distrital), which is scheduled for May 2. The location will be announced at a later date. All club members are invited to attend this Assembly.

Next Week's Social Tuesday

At the time of writing, it is likely that next week's Social Tuesday will be held at noon, at a venue other than AFDA. Please check this E-Garita for a message from Juanita with all the details about the activity.
