The 22nd annual Thanksgiving Celebration for children, seniors and disabled adults was a huge success—once again! Hundreds of children from Boys & Girls Clubs around the Island, as well as adults from the Instituto Psicopedigoco enjoyed a hearty traditional Thanksgiving feast, as well as entertainment by guitarist Juan Carlos and talented youth performers. Over 30 San Juan Rotarians came to lend a hand as did a contingent from the U.S. Coast Guard, Boys & Girls Club staff, Rotaractors from the InterMetro Club and Interactors from Commonwealth High School. Secretary of State Kenneth McClintock also made his annual appearance in support of the Club's yearly community service event. The Daily Sun front page featured a photo of the San Juan Marriott's chef presenting the first turkey carvings to youngsters from the San Lorenzo Boys & Girls Club. El Nuevo Dia dedicated a feature story to the event and recognized the fearless leader behind the event for more than two decades—our own Sol Bravman.

Congratulations to all those whose contributions, both monetary and voluntary helped to bring this annual tradition to fruition, putting smiles on the faces of hundreds of happy attendees and giving them the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable holiday meal!
