NEXT WEEK: Guest speakers, Nelson I. Colon, President of Fundación Comunitario, will be our guest speaker. The organization is dedicated to addressing the social and financial needs of our community. We will meet on ZOOM.
Please remember, our 7000 District Conference is set for Saturday 25th. of June of this year. The cost per person is $150.00. It includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and two coffee breaks. We need as many of you as possible, please join us, you will really enjoy it. It is important that our club has an important presence. We are the host club.
We will also enjoy a special event for Rotarians and Friends on Friday 24th. night. We will be tasting some wines from Mayorca, Spain, and pair them with some great tapas and appetizers. The cost will be $60.00 for those attending the conference on the 25th. and $70.00 for others.

Roots and Action (Raices y Action), was inspired by the work and life of legendary Puerto Rican leader, Antonia Pantoja. Our guest speakers, Barbara Vlahides and Tere Martinez, gave a most lively interesting talk about their project that teaches and inspires, through theater educational workshops, young Puerto Ricans to lead and change what they want to see in their country. Co-Founder, Educator and Artistic Director, Tere, and Co-Founder, Barbara, Executive Director, have seen the results when engaging students through drama. That is when most of the learning happens. A very upbeat and animated program.
