Guest Speaker, ROBERTO SOTO ACOSTA, is one of 30 Global Representatives of the international #Giving Tuesday movement created in 2012 to promote charitable giving at the beginning of the Christmas and holiday season. 

Our speaker brought it to Puerto Rico in 2018.  The movement operates in over 60 countries with activities celebrated in over 120 countries around the globe.  The kick-off date is the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving. This year it is December 3.

Impactful strategies include: spreading the word, matching donations, use of social media and, of course, your participation.  

Our speaker earned degrees from Manhattan College and his Masters from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.  At Harvard, he was a recipient of a Ford Graduate Fellowship and the Danforth Foundation Kent Fellowship.
