Was KAROL OVIEDO, after her May 10 graduation from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.  KAROL was one of 100 Outstanding Honorary Students in the Class of 2019.  She was selected by the Fulbright Scholar Organization to travel to Brazil for one year as an Exchange English Teacher.  Her hopes are for further study to earn a Ph.D. in Sociology.  KAROL thanks all Rotarians for supporting her through the many years at Robinson School and Emory University.

Guest speaker, PEDRO RIVERA, a Serial Entrepreneur, Community builder, Crypto Currency investor &Puerto Rican Diaspora advocate, has returned to the island, with his wife and son, after Restart Week to help build the community.  By organizing local events and activities, he has encouraged entrepreneurship and awareness of the fintech and digital spaces.  He is the organizer of Crypto Mondays San Juan and CEO of Hemp for the Future.  The definition of Crypto Currencies is a medium of exchange using cryptography to secure the transaction and to control the creation of new units - a subset of alternative currencies, or specifically of digital currencies.  With that in mind, our speaker gave a summary of what he actually does to help the economy.  Incidentally, "60 Minutes" reported on this theme on last Sunday's program.  Our speaker's talk inspired some questions that he gladly answered in detail.
