Dear fellow Rotarians,    

 I hope you had a wonderful holiday time and I wish you a great 2022. 

Our Board has decided, due to the present circumstances, to only have virtual meetings during the rest of January and February. We will let you know when we start having presential meetings again. 

There are two important issues that I want to discuss with you, and I would like to get your reaction and advice in relation to the same.

The first relates to our main reason of existence: doing good. Part of which is helping those in need. The District is accepting Applications for District Grants. This is a great opportunity to fund small projects with immediate needs. If you have a project you would like to do, please fill out the Application (www.distritorotario7000.org) and submit it to Georgie Hildebrand at georganna57@gmail.com. The Application will be reviewed by the Board and the top Applications submitted to the District for Approval. You will be receiving the guidelines for the Grants and the Application soon by email. Both are in Spanish but feel free to call me or Georgie Hildebrand at 831-345-5299 if you need help with translations. The maximum amount of the Grants $1000.00. 

The second relates to our involvement with the people we are helping. It is not only giving money, but we must also give ourselves. Please let us know if you are interested in getting involved and we will be more than happy to invite you to visit some of the projects in which we are participating. No doubt they need money, but even more they need people that understand what they are doing and people who can share with them the joy of helping our people.
