Carlos Cubero, Director of Operations for Puerto Rico of ENDEAVORS PR, spoke on Endeavors journey to help Puerto Rico recover from the disastrous effects of Hurricane Maria. With degrees in Business Administration and Management from UPR Aguadilla, our speaker’s expertise in previous programs was to contribute as the Project Manager for the Endeavors Disaster Case Management Program (DCMP) on the island. In charge of the recovery of fifty municipalities, Mr. Cubero has succeeded in implementing effective managerial strategies such as project execution, logistics, development, risk management and innovative processes. Most importantly, he has managed to restore dignity and improve the quality of life of thousands of Puerto Ricans after the devastation of Hurricane Maria. which saw countless homes losing their roofs and covered by blue plastic sheeting. Introduced by Club Director, José "Pepito" Rivero, and accompanied by the video of the actual storm and its aftermath, the program brought home the fury of Mother Nature.
