With a resume showing a history of great government service, Antonio Colorado, spoke with years of experience on the importance of our people working together for the common good of our island. With law degrees from UPR and Harvard, our speaker was an Advisor to the Economic Development Administration (Fomento), Secretary of State, Resident Commissioner to the US Congress and also served on many boards in his eight years in public service
Attorney Colorado touched on many local problems needing attention such as: our relationship to the US, our constant change of government resulting in good programs being suspended, the 400,000 jobs lost since 1995, the 60% of our work force unemployed, and corruption, increasing the cost of everything. Puerto Rico has outstanding medical and tourism facilities that should be promoted to bring people to our island. We have much to offer. Service is the future.
