My mission for 2020-2021 is to increase membership. One way that has been suggested to me is to have an open house where as many members as possible invite a friend or acquaintance whose interests are close to those of the club, that is: who we are what we do. (We probably will need a well prepare power point.) We would also make it a social event where potential new members get to meet our members. I think that this is a good step toward attracting new members, but I am not sure that done virtually it would have the same impact as being able to do it in person. If you have any thoughts or ideas, please let me know.
Also, we continue to volunteer to help the Fundación Stefano distribute food to those in need, both individual ad organization. This will takes place in the parking of St Patricio Plaza behind Bed Bath and Beyond on Monday (July 27, 2020) from 8:30 AM until approximately 12M.
We are looking for volunteers to help identify areas that need covid/masks and food. And also volunteers to help distribute these. The masks are not for individuals, they are for institutions. The food is for needy families. There is a very short lead time for this to occur so if you can help please contact Gerry Cumpiano @ Gcumpiano@gmail.com or call him.
