Guest speaker, Angelique Sina, of SEEDS, will tell of the incredible journey of knowledge began in August 0f 2019 when SEEDS launched the first cohort of students aged 9+, to become entrepreneurs in the new Puerto Rico economy. For this first year, 80+ students from five Puerto Rican schools launched 25 businesses, impacting their families, their future schooling and their careers, and their future earning potential. As part of the program launch, two SEEDS students travelled to the United Nations General Assembly in New York City from Puerto Rico, to present Cafe Ana to thousands of international leaders and entrepreneurs.
We have, currently, 84 members of the club. My most important goal for this year as president is to reach 88; however, it would be phenomenal if we could really do something amazing by adding many more members and push our membership over 100. Both Michele our Membership Committee Chair and I have the idea that if each of our members invited just one friend or relative to our weekly Zoom meetings and that guest liked what we do enough to join the club what a wonderful difference that would make.

Our Guest Speaker, Marines Rivera, Lawyer, Manager, Mentor/Coach, Certified Leadership Coach, and Distinguished Toastmaster, spoke on, "The Magic of self-expression". Her enthusiasm for Toastmasters International was so evident, that it inspired an exceptional response from the audience. The main purpose of Toastmasters Club is to enhance one's public speaking skills from a 30 second 'elevator pitch' to speaking in front of a large audience. Practice makes perfect.
