The board is proud to announce that it has named Antonio (Tito) Colorado to the vacant position of President Elect 20/21.
Antonio J Colorado was born in NY but came to PR at a very young age. He studied in local schools, graduated from Boston University, then as a lawyer from UPR and from Harvard with a Master’s in law.
He has practiced law in private practice and his company, The Colorado Group specialized in investments, financing and commerce in the Caribbean Basin and Latin America. Along with his remarkable work in private practice, Antonio has had an illustrious career in government. Among his many important executive positions to list just a few are:
Vice Chairman of The Government Development bank
Chairman of the Caribbean Financing Authority (CARIFA)
B of D, Puerto Rico Telephone Company
Vice Chairman, Puerto Rico Shipping Authority,
Secretary of State,
Resident Commissioner,
Executive Director of the Caribbean Latin America Action (C/ LAA)
Executive Director Roosevelt Roads Development Authority
Antonio is married to Delia Castillo de Colorado and has three children, Delia, Ana, and Antonio and five grandchildren, Marina Isabel, Pelegrin Antonio, Diego Antonio, Jose Maria, and Deliana.
